SGF Athletics
The South Glens Falls Central School District is proud to offer 75 athletic teams for our students in grades 7-12. The Bulldogs are members of The Foothills Council, Section 2, and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).
Through participation in athletics, we hope our students have an opportunity to learn many life lessons and realize their highest potential. Some of these life lessons include accountability, leadership, responsibility, cooperation, respect, perseverance, healthy competition, playing a role in the team dynamic and sportsmanship. The success of our program is validated by student achievement that is demonstrated both on the playing field and in the classroom.

Registrations for all programs are done through ArbiterSports – REGISTER HERE.
*As per the New York State Department of Education, interscholastic athletics sponsored by SGFCSD are only available to SGF bonafide students in grades 7-12. Although students in grades K-6 are not permitted to participate in SGF interscholastic athletic programs, there are sport opportunities available through the Moreau Recreation Department and other entities throughout the area.

The Athletic Excellence Awards is where outstanding individual and team efforts at the varsity level will be officially recognized and celebrated by the district. Those being recognized will be informed in March.
