At South Glens Falls CSD, we are steadfast in our commitment to keeping all families well-informed. The recent changes and discussions regarding immigration policies at a national level may evoke uncertainty and concern within our community. We want to let our families know the steps we have taken and the processes we are following and will continue to follow.
We have provided all of our administrators with the New York State Guidance on Safeguarding the Rights of Immigrant Students which all school districts in the state received regarding safeguarding the rights of immigrant students.
All staff and administrators are expected to follow this issued guidance and the reminders from the state.
We understand our rights and responsibilities in protecting and helping all of our students. As always, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of each and every student.
