Substitute Hiring Information
Substitute Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Nurses
WSWHE BOCES handles the application process for substitute teachers, teacher assistants and nurses. Anyone interested should visit the WSWHE BOCES Substitute Teacher Registry.
Substitute teacher aides, school monitors, clerical, food service, custodial and transportation positions
The South Glens Falls Central School District maintains a list of active substitutes for: teacher aide, school monitor, clerical, food service, custodial and transportation.
To be considered and placed on the active substitute list please:
Complete an application for employment on RecruitFront and apply to substitute job posting(s) you are interested in.
You will be contacted by the appropriate office for an interview and to fill out a Civil Service Application. Once you have been offered a position, you will be contacted by our HR office to come in and fill out a Fingerprint Consent Form to get fingerprinted and for you to submit your two forms of ID. Please note the District will cover the cost of fingerprinting.
Once fingerprints have cleared, you will be asked to fill out all the necessary paperwork to complete the hiring process for employment.
